This is all that is left of our site after unscrupulous hackers decided to try to gain access to links from our previous site which was basically a 'portal' site that gave links to sites we use ourselves. Some of the links and sub domains from our site were very popular, and we are sorry to have lost them, but we do not feel it is the right time to put them back up yet, if indeed we will bother at all.

We wanted to show that the people who are Deekays are still around and use the net extensively, so this is why we have placed this one page on our domain. A brief history of Deekays can be found below but if you want to contact one of us then you can by using the domain name preceded by our names – Debbie, Dennis, or Kevin.

Briefly this is what we are doing:
Debbie works for local council in the care department.
Dennis still works for the same company he has done for the last 28 years but is hoping to retire in a couple of year’s time.
Kevin works as Head of Music in a local school and is now married with children.

So here now is the history of Deekays:

Dee-Kays Disco
The Dee-Kays name was first invented for us all as a family when my son and I began a mobile disco in our local area. We called ourselves Dee-Kays Disco and specialised in children's parties. The Dee-Kays name came from myself creating the "D" part from my name Dennis, and "K" came from my son Kevin. As my daughter became old enough to come along with us and and help out, her name being Debbie also fit in with the "Dee-Kays" name, and so it remained.

Dee-Kays BBS As my son moved away to University, and as my daughter became older still, circumstances changed to the extent that running the disco became near enough impossible, and so it disolved. At the age of 12 my daughter decided to create a Bulletin Board System (BBS) with my help and funding. When trying to decide a name, the Dee-Kays name came out once more, and so began Dee-Kays BBS, which later closed after many happy years due to development of the Internet was then grew to what it is today.
